In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy the residents of Sea Isle could see piles of debris, a sand-filled boardwalk and flooded homes and businesses alike. On the boardwalk railing could be seen split in half while benches were hiding under mounds of sand. In fact one resident joked that there was more sand on the promenade than the beach.
Those who decided to not evacuate and weather the storm would watch some 40 inches of water slowly fill basements and first floors of buildings. While the mayor described the flood damage suffered by City Hall and Police headquarters he added that the Sea Isle police department, public works department, fire department, ambulance corps and City Hall staff have been working around the clock responding to this historic event.
Shortly thereafter these crews would move on to clean-up. While all of the water, sand and debris have been removed from the streets and sidewalks some stains and dirt are still easily visible. J&J Power Wash serves South Jersey for all of your pressure washing needs.
