Pressure Washing Outdoor Furniture
We have never actually ever received a call to wash patio furniture or outdoor furniture alone. Frankly, I think that would be somewhat lazy as you can clean most outdoor furniture with elbow grease and water. With that said, we have come across some plastic, metal and composite outdoor and patio furniture that did need the power and heat that a commercial pressure washer can bring. While we never use residential power washer machines I think it is safe to say that they could probably get the job done. But for whatever reason you want to hire a professional, give us a call!
Tips for Cleaning Outdoor Furniture
- make sure all windows are shut and all doors are closed
- if possible turn off the power to all electrical fixtures including lights and fixtures
- remove everything that can be damaged by a cleaning agent including furniture
- cover all plants, shrubs and flowers
Items you will Need to Wash Outdoor Furniture

Process of Power Washing Outdoor Furniture
While you can clean any way you want it makes the most sense to start from the top and work your way down. This way you do not have to rinse or clean the same areas more than one time. The professionals at J&J Power Wash will mix cleaning agents into a five gallon bucket and apply to the top of the furniture with our spray applicator. Let the cleaning agent work its magic on the outdoor furniture for several minutes before you start hand brushing (optional). Once you have brushed every square inch of siding you can then use your power washer to rinse off the cleaning agent and dirt. It also helps to keep an additional 5 gallon bucket filled with a cleaning agent that you can periodically dip your soft brush into during the brushing process.
